Old Town, Orono fire departments unveil new
haz-mat unit

The Old Town and Orono Fire Departments have added a new unit
to their special operations teams. A brand new Haz-Mat Vehicle, purchased
with a grant written by Orono Lt. Fire Chief Scott Luciano, was unveiled at
the Orono fire station last Friday.

visited the Old Town Head Start, read to the kids and said that Head Start
is one of the most effective ways of cutting later crime. They pledged the
support of Maine’s law enforcement leaders to Head Start and the campaign to
raise awareness of the crime
